Codsall Dramatic Society are a local drama group in the truest sense of the phrase. We meet every Wednesday at Codsall Village Hall, and have great relationships with many local businesses. We pride ourselves on having local members from all walks of life, and from many different age groups: from young adults to retirees and everything in between.
We put on three different shows every year, four if you count our annual studio evening. Two are ‘main plays’ where we take an established text and perform it. For example, this might be a classic like a Wilde or a more modern play. Then there is Codsall Dramatic Society’s famed annual Play for Children, where we perform a classic children’s story with our own unique take. This is always massively popular, with many shows selling out!
Codsall Dramatic Society values it’s links with the local community. We have put on performances with Codsall Singers, worked closely with Codsall Community Arts Festival to put on performances and of course we rehearse at Codsall Village Hall with whom we enjoy a very strong working relationship.
